With all the talk….And all the hype….and all the polls…and month after month coverage of the race, my gut told me that there was a high level of public interest in the election of 2008. Then I read this:
The average turnout in the primary contests that have already occurred has been 12.4% of the total population of those states.
We do indeed get the government we deserve.
